Born in Malaysia, Dr Jeevinesh Naidu graduated in 2005 from the University of Liverpool. He completed Physician Training in the UK, achieving Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2009. In 2010 he returned to Kuala Lumpur where he worked for eight years, receiving dual accreditation in General Medicine and Gastroenterology in 2017.
During training he discovered a passion for Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He recently completed a three-year fellowship in Interventional Endoscopy at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) under three eminent mentors. His main area of research is using EUS as a novel method to diagnose and treat pancreatic cancer. He is currently completing a PhD, has authored numerous publications, and presented locally and internationally.
Dr Naidu is skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic EUS, ERCP, endoscopy and colonoscopy. Having worked in many countries, Jeevinesh is able to tailor his approach with sensitivity to the cultural values of each patient.
He consults and does procedures in Flinders Private Hospital and Calvary North Adelaide.
