Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Mahinda De Silva graduated from medicine form the University of Adelaide in 1998.
He then trained in Gastroenterology at Royal Hobart hospital, Box hill hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. He was awarded Fellowship in gastroenterology by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2008.
He was also recognized by the conjoint committee for the recognition in gastrointestinal training in endoscopy in 2008.
He was then appointed as a staff specialist at Repatriation hospital and VMO specialist at Broken Hill health service.
He has a special interest in celiac disease, colorectal cancer screening and prevention. He also performs double balloon enteroscopy in the investigation of small bowel disorders at Repatriation general hospital.
He is also a member of GESA and The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
